They're all useful. But that's not what Legends Loud is about.
Legends Loud is about the people who live the music.
We don't just want to tell you about rock and metal. We want to talk about it with you.
For many of us, rock and metal aren't simply genres of music.
They're memories.
They're the first album you bought with your own money. The band you discovered when you were fifteen. The gig where you stood so close to the stage you could feel the bass in your chest. The song that got you through a difficult time. The album you played endlessly on the journey to your first festival.
They're the friends you've made, the stories you can still remember decades later and the bands that have become part of who you are.
That's the stuff we want to hear about.
Legends Loud is a community, not a review site.
We're not here to sit above the crowd and tell you whether an album deserves four or five stars.
We want to know what you think.

Legends Loud is a place to share opinions, stories, memories, recommendations and maybe the occasional controversial opinion.
And yes, we're sure there will be disagreements.
That's part of the fun.
You might think that album is a masterpiece. Someone else might think it's rubbish.
You might swear that the greatest live band you've ever seen is an old-school legend. Someone else might tell you a band you've never heard of blew them away last weekend.
That's exactly what we want.
Because music means different things to different people.
There isn't always a right answer.
It's for people who have lived it.
You don't need to know every band.
You don't need an encyclopaedic knowledge of metal.
You don't need to have been going to gigs since the 1970s.
And you certainly don't need to prove that you're a "proper" rock fan.
If you love the music, you're one of us.
